Happy Birthday to me | Day 111 of my 2023 Journal

Cecilie Conrad·Apr 21, 2023· 2 minutes

On my birthday, honestly, a few days ago, as I was “falling behind,” I did not have to plan anything.

The castle stay is already a party, and there is no way my birthday is more important than my children hanging out with their new friends.

We went to Omaha Beach at high tide, so there was not much beach. It was still a beautiful sight, though. The children sat in the roundabout green area, played games, and talked. We did not even visit the museum, which is quite rare.

Some of the worldschoolers who do not live at the castle joined, so we re-met some friends and had lovely conversations.

The community is a lovely one.

In the evening, we had a shared meal at the castle and a bonfire.

It was a beautiful night with friends and music.

I did not even have time to open my presents.

What a great day to enter a new circle around the sun.

Love and light
