I ruined Christmas | Day 325 of my 2023 Journal

Cecilie Conrad·Nov 22, 2023· 2 minutes

I ruined Christmas.

I have to admit it. Now that I know, I will know for the rest of my life. There is no way around it. Once you know, you know.

And I know it was me.

I ruined Christmas.

If you want to know how I did it and what I am going to do about it, you can read that here. And while you are at it, sign up for the newsletter so you will not miss the very personal episode of Da Ladies Podcast when we release it in December.

I am sharing this here and now because I just recorded the Christmas episode of Da Ladies Fixing the World, where I realized how much I have hated Christmas and how that ruined the whole thing for my family for many years.

It was emotional and personal and bold to record a podcast, where I repeatedly have to admit how much I hate the tradition of Christmas, but I did it, and I got over it.

Besides that, we had a lovely day with our friends here in Mexico. Just a silent one. Discussing personal freedom, sharing meals, going for walks, and watching another based on a true story about people breaking the rules while sharing snacks on the sofas.

Just as much as I hate Christmas, I love a day like this.

With love
